 Well my name is Joanna, if you haven't already worked that out.
I have been inhabiting this planet for 20 years now.
I am a struggling student studying a foundation degree in media. And no, that doesn't mean I sit on my arse and do nothing but watch films - I do that in my spare time thanks :)
I consider myself a film lover & movie geek. Films are a big part of my and so is music. I envy those with musical talent.
I smoke like an absolute chimney, don't like it - don't stand next to me. Simple as that.
People make the mistake of judging me before they get to know me, which actually rather annoys me. Everyone preaches that you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover, yet everyone does it. So don't bullshit to me - you are the one who looks like a hypocrite.
I know I may not be the best looking person in the world, but here is a newsflash - I am still pretty enough to know I don't need photoshop to make myself look good
My language is a bit bad on occasions but at the end of the day, I don't see how a simple swear word can hurt anyone - it is just a word.
My dream job would be to write for Empire Magazine, travelling the world and meeting all my directing heroes. One day I will get my penthouse in New York City, overlooking Central Park - Just because it is a dream doesn't mean I can't make it happen. You get out of life what you put in.
I already have the most wonderful person in my life I could ask, for in the form of my boyfriend Chris Jones and everyday I get to wake up next to him. He is my fellow movie geek and I love nothing more than curling up in bed and watching a film with him. So if you came on this page for someone to flirt with, I would leave now if I were you :)
I am a big kid at heart and that will never change, no matter how old I get. I really think that all things retro are awesome. I would choose my Super Nintendo and Sega Megadrive over your Xbox's and Playstation's any day.
I like to snap photographs on my film SLR whenever I get a chance. This doesn't mean I claim to being a photographer, in fact it rather annoys me when people with a decent enough camera claim to be one.
The fact that people get so upset about what someone has said about them on a website amuses me. The majority of the time these people are a million miles apart and do not even know each other. Why should you care about people you don't know and what they have to say about you? To me the only people who can really pass judgement on your life or the way you are, are the people who know you in person. The fact of the matter is - They don't know you and you don't know them.
People who assume they know you just because you sit from behind a keyboard and type to them is silly. People on sites such as this only let you know what they want you to know. However saying this I try to be as honest with people as possible. If you want to get to know me for who I am then start a conversation with me that is worthwhile, as I get bored of replying to one word answers. Please write something to at least task my intelligence.
I cannot stand people who refuse to use correct spelling. Grammar on sites does not bother me as much, but at least spell things properly. I cannot abide having to sit and decipher what it is you are actually trying to say to me.
And now after writing about myself into this little box, I have realised that no one will actually spare the time to read this. As let's face it folks who actually does these days. It is all based on that little picture you use as your default.
