walk in the park

walking alone
away from my troublesome home
i walk to the park
on a cold night like tonight
shades of grey
light up the nightmarish sky
i pull my hood up and start to pace
up this hill to an escape one mysterious place
that has trees so dark and crooked
swings so creaky
jungle gyms os deserted
i wonder what happened...
when life was nothing but an adventure
and problems never mattered
making friendships that lasted maybe one hour
so young and naiveve
life was only fun
thoughs days i swung on that high swing and fell of the monkey bars and scraped my knee
i miss that little boy who helped me up
and said do you wan to be friends
but as life passes
and years go by
life is no longer just a fun day at the park
now its an amusmant park witht he rollar coaster of situations that never seem to end
with its highs and lows
you can never get off
not till you scream for you dying breath
so make the best of you mistakes
and leave this unwholy place
with no air to breathe
or hand to hold...
so as i look through this rainign window
i think to myself
where did my life go?
what happend to that boy
so many questions left unanswered
mysterious and unknown
this is life
its no walk in the park...

even tot his day it seems like
youve run out
but youll always be told

if wer eon bad terms or not
ill always care and never leave you
even if thats a phrase you commonly hear
mine is different
everything will be okay
put your worries on me let me mend your broken heart
and mend your suffering you desevre
only the greatest and im willing to give you just that
so dont give up
because if you do...
im numb and souless
and ill be dead to the world
so ill just give up as well
to make th edomino effect
because you are a great firend
anyone would be lucky to have you
and im glad im one of them in a sense...
so think positive step over your pbstacles youll putt through
and im there with you every step you take and every wrong turn for every sad day and for every mood swing
ill be there
because
i wont give up on you
so keep trying
