tbh..its a song..not a poem.. but meh.
I miss the girl who told me “forever”
I regret when I listened to you say we would last
And all the times that we’d laugh and we’d smile
Those are the best, memories I have
Cause I miss your hugs and I miss our late nights,
And I miss having someone tell me that we’ll be alright
I feel so alone, this world has grown cold,
Since you told me that you didn’t want to know..
I guess a year and a half of fighting through for nothing,
Was all that we would ever amount to,
And I know that you’re fine, while I have nightmares every night,
But walking away was always easiest for you..
I still sleep with the teddy that you gave me for Christmas,
I still feel like I’m barely holding on,
I remember the times that we’d giggle over nothing,
And I wonder where those times have gone..

Trapped in a jar of lonesome
Ashamed of me.
Never free.
Lost in nothing.
Trapped in air.
Ashamed of me.

Can never be helped, or found.
I'm alone, stuck on ground.
The laughter fills the mist.
The earth begins to twist.
Ashamed of me.
Never free.
Does anyone have a heart to let me be.
The stares feel like an eternity.
For now, just trapped in a jar of lonesome.

now at ease.
fell into the shadows of lonesome.
