I'm another newbie here, although I'm slightly worried I maybe the oldest member here in years of age. I was on of the original English Goth when the scene started happening in the mid 80's. I used to drink regularly in The Barrel Organ pub, Birmingham, England; until it was closed down to become an Irish themed pub.
I'm here basically to keep in touch with other Gothic people, as there aren't as many of us as there used to be. All my original Gothic friends have either become normal, or I've lost touch with them.

Greetings and salutations, Mournblade! I think I've met other Goths around your time. It's a sub culture I soooooo wish I embraced when I was in my late teens. But where I grew up we didn't have access to Goth culture. We had one Goth shop in Canberra and it lasted 2005-2009 which is a good run for where I am.

I have none or at least very minimal Gothic friends. Canberrans don't talk to each other so it's very hard to establish any sort of relationship. LOL It's funny but true and if I don't laugh I'll cry.
