Melt this grey,
Turn it black.
Bring me some,
or I'll never come back.
Like a mother's hug when you're here,
and a father's slap when I don't.
Will I continue to sink,
or will I learn to float.
Memories drift away,
my innocence fades to grey.
Days become hell,
Nights become this turtle's shell.
Get me up,
Get me off.
Sell myself,
Let me drop.
