Oneirogens are dream potentiators;
(Etymology: Oneiros=Roman God of dreams and dreaming, “gen”=to produce) they can induce lucid dreaming, and lucid dreaming is the gateway to astral projection. Here is a list of (only the nonpsychoactive) herbs that have oneirogenic properties:

- Nymphaea Caerulea (Blue Water Lily)
- Nymphaea Alba (White Water Lily)
- Nymphaea Pubescens (Pink Water Lily)
- Artemisia Vulgaris (Mugwort)
- Leonurus Cardiaca (Motherwort)
- Tulsi (Holy Basil)
- Tian Men Dong (Chinese “Flying Asparagus”)
- Calea Zacatechichi (the strongest of all these; this tastes extremely bitter so be sure to sweeten it to counteract the horrible taste)
- Silene Capensis (African Dream Root)
- Entada Rheedii (African Dream Bean)

Dreams come from Dimethyltryptamine (DMT) and the Monoamine Oxidase enzyme in the stomach inhibits monoamines, such as Tryptamines. Monoamine Oxidase inhibitors (MAOis) inhibit this enzyme, which increases the effects of Tryptamines (because they are monoamines), so I will also include a list of MAOis to safely combine with your Oneirogen. I will NOT include the MAOis used in Ayahuasca, however. (Remember to avoid combining MAOis with SSRIs (Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors); that could be LETHAL)

MAOis:
- Passiflora Incarnata (Passionflower)
- Myristica Fragrans (Nutmeg) (do NOT use Nutmeg at high doses; you will have a HORRIBLE time and it will feel like an ETERNITY in HELL)
- Curcuma Longa (Turmeric)
- Piper Methysticum (Kava)
- Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea)
- Alchemilla Vulgaris (Lady’s Mantle)
