I'm 35 & from the good ol' VF days. Then I was on Gothwire for awhile til it apparently disappeared & then found this place.

I'm trying to get into my Hermit phase but I'm keen to meet other Goths.

I'm a VF Refugee as well but I've been on GG since 2019.

I was on Gothwire too, it didn't disappear but changed it's name to Hey Freaks *cringe* Personally, I'm on still on there but I think they could've picked a better name. Apparently it's under new management, hence the name change.

I'm not in a relationship or anything but I'm Aromantic do def not looking for anything special either, just trying to make connections, meet more people in the community...

Im not a licened Doctor but its a nickname, i got because of my White trenchcoat coat
I live in Denmark. North part of Europe.
And found GG from seaching for a non dating gothic site. Moste of goth sites Are shutting down and its Hard to find others here in Denmark.
Adwell, its better in Germany compare to Denmark but its a long ride for me.

I used to be in VF aswell.

Hello DoctorGoth. Welcome to the dead site call GG.

I been on and off here since 2008ish.. back when it was alot more active. This account was made last year but I am not new.
Used to be on VF and Gothwire but they were side websites to this.

This can be a great site for us, if we get it back from the dead and we do not allow people to control certain parts like people did on VF and Gothwire, which is why those sites died. in my opinion.

I'm familiar with Denmark but from studying Early Medieval History.

When I was younger I tried searching Goth Dating sites and there was only ONE! With only two women locally who were on it, the only one I was attracted to never responded to my messages. Later on the whole site disappeared. It's still a bit conservative where I am. We have a Goth population but it's small and no one talks to each other which makes it impossible to make connections.

I'm learning German and noticed a lot of songs on my Gothic compilation albums are in German.

I joined VF in 2006 but wasn't active until 2008. Sadly it wasn't until 2017 when I was on VF on a regular basis.

I was on VF during its final years and I didn't experience any problems with it. The only thing I noticed was people started being bitchy with their comments....I guess that started to build up and ruin things. 😢

Oh yeah, WFH (Work From Home). I should've known. A lot of Aussies love it and we had a Politician running for PM who wanted to ban it. He lost the election. I know staff at work who don't show up because they're choosing WFH, it's just convenient for them some days.

I discovered another Gothic social network I forgot I was on, it's called Vampy Freaks. I got a profile on there but hadn't checked it in yeeeeeears!

That's fine, the bitchiness wasn't directed at me but still it's not great.
