about me
| My name is Salena, many call me Sylvee but I'm okay with either one.
I'm sixteen years old.
I live in Olathe, Kansas. There's nothing particularly special about Kansas except that we have the biggest one-day Rock fest besides Rocklahoma and there's a few famous bands with members from here.
There aren't farms every corner you turn, and I don't have a country accent either, people seem to get confused about that.
I've got a group of friends who always cheer up my day when we get to talk and chill out =]. Sadly though, they all went to a different high school than me as soon as we became freshman. But we haven't grown distant and I hope we never do.
I've wanted to play Bass since I was in the second grade, I grew up on Nirvana, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Stone Temple Pilots, Pearl Jam, old school rap, and 80's pop.
I'm multi-cultural, I believe in many different things.
I especially admire the classic Gothic style, I find it hauntingly beautiful.
I do love the Vampire Kisses series and Anne Rice. Also the House of Night series and the Mortal Instrument series to.
I read lots!! It's one of my favorite pastimes to curl up on the couch with some coffee and something sweet to eat while I read on and on all day.
I don't smoke anything, I don't have anything against anyone who smokes cigarettes or does drugs, either ^^. Irony plays a big role in my life and while I like to be sweet and shy I have a darker side just like everybody.
I love to laugh, and be stupid sometimes and just sit back and enjoy every pleasure of life I can. I seem all calm and collected to most people. . And, I am really but having fun isn't a crime :o)
the first impression people get of me in person is that I'm rather peculiar, I say lurrve quite abit and when I'm forced to stand in line for to long I shuffle my feet back and forth in place so it looks like I'm dancing. I have a cat named Snowflakes and she's the cat version of me mumzy. I also have two dogs and a snake who lives in my room with me D'x. Not really very scary I adore snakes |

Eating, I grew up on Italian, Polish, and German food :D it's all delicious.
I'm an abstract artist, just recently I got some paint and hopefully I'll get a huge sketchbook or some canvases so I can seriously continue making art, it helps me think clearer.
I'm fascinated with Clockwork, when that movie Hugo came out I wouldn't/couldn't stop watching it. |
