Who is to Blame?

Does the devil sit upon a throne?
In the dark depths of hell
Does he wear an iron crown?
Judging them that fell

A mighty throne it must be
In his dark and fiery world
Made of malice and human bone
And evil that he unfurled

There he sits in judgement solemn
Of our crime and sins and hate
He only shows us what we did
And confirms our fiery fate

Over our actions he has no control
He can but show and tempt
To try to lead us from the path
But only this he can attempt

You see we must accept this truth,
For our fates we alone decide
We cannot blame the Devil
From liability we cannot hide
