That is why they don't let athletes take drugs, it makes you better. One guy threw a no hitter on acid, but he also knocked down and hit about 7 batters, he said he was aiming for their heads. His name was Doc Ellis, there have been some documentaries about that no hitter.

Take a hit of something and not get greedy with it, and never equate money with drugs, if it is for free then partake in the peace pipe

I grew up in a great drug generation, we do not fear drugs, drugs are your friend and expand the mind and philosophy. I am wary of these new drug strains that are too strong, so like I said don't take too much. They kill your dreams and I am all about sleeping.

Maybe I should just embrace my dreams of her if it's the only time I ever get to see her anymore. As pleasant as it is to see her in my dreams I don't want to, I hate waking up to the reality where she no longer lives.

Yeah, embrace your dreams. A new love would replace her in your heart though.

So, I moved a little over a week ago. Had an appointment to have my Dish Network service switched to the house from the apartment. Dish has the thing where you pack your receiver box and your remotes and they take care of everything else. The guy came out Sunday to find a good spot for the new satellite dish. I gave him very specific instructions that it could be anywhere on the property EXCEPT on the roof. He was very polite, very professional, and went about his business. Half an hour later, he came in and told me that it wasn't possible. In order to receive all of the channels that I had ordered, I needed to be able to connect with three satellites in space and I could get one, maybe two, but not all three. He said even on the roof there wasn't a high chance of getting reception as needed because there are so many trees on my property. The majority of the trees blocking the needed signal will be cut down within the year as they are serious hazards for major property damage, not just to my house but also to other houses, lots of branches that fall off with high winds and ice (which are normal here) that could hurt my kids and/or my dogs, and more than half the trees are dead as the previous owners didn't bother to be safe with the lawn care chemicals they used.
So....... the guy told me to call the Dish office and tell them what he said and to have my service canceled as there is no point in paying for something that I can't use. So I called the main Dish office and told them that. The lady talked me into having a field specialist come out on Monday just to do a double check of things and she took $10 off the bill for the next 6 months, without contract, for my troubles. My bill already had $25 off a month for the next 3 months due to moving with Dish promotions, which dropped it down to $30 a month. Then it would be only $20 because of her discount.
The field specialist was supposed to be out between 12 and 5 pm. Come 7 pm, with him not showing up or calling to let me know he couldn't make it or anything, I called the office again. This time, the guy I spoke to offered me $15 off my bill for the next 10 months, with no contract. That would make my bill $5 a month. I told him, politely, that I was declining that offer and that I just wanted my service shut off. I had to tell him this 17 times. SEVENTEEN FUCKING TIMES!!!! I understand that his job is to retain customers at all costs but if I cannot receive service and their field specialist is so unprofessional then I'm "cutting the cord" and going with an antenna. I have Netflix and Amazon Prime, as well as access to movie channels through a friend, channels I give her money for to help with costs. What do I need extra shit for?
After 30 minutes on the phone, the guy finally stopped trying to keep me on as a customer and just canceled my account. I never realized how hard it was to cancel something like that before!
Also, my phone/internet service... I'm on a lifetime bundle plan, locked in at a low rate, $50 a month, unlimited everything on the phone and internet that fits my needs. When I called to have it switched over, I was told there'd be approximately $80 in fees. I told that guy he could shove it as I refused to pay more in fees than I did for service in one month. He put me on hold and came back saying that since I was such a loyal customer, he could waive all of the fees. Uh huh.
The last time I moved was 6 years ago and there wasn't this much of a hassle with anything then!

Search for supplements that promote skin health, like zinc, vitamin E and stuff.

Actually I didn't get to have my good years, I monked for 20 years, wrote ten books, and was so ill I couldn't even look at women. I got reborn, went back 11 years in age, and have a shot of living for real after all that wasted time.

Well, I started drinking everyday at a bar 8 years ago, so I have had some fun, but I never went to the bar with the intent to pick up girls, I really should have.

I'm really sick of parents thinking that they are doing right by their child by sheltering them from everything and fixing all of their problems for them. You neglect your child's emotional growth when you do that!!!! They didn't get invited to a birthday party that half their class was invited to? Who fucking cares. Maybe they'll learn that life isn't fair and that you don't have to be nice to everybody. Got a bad grade on the test? Don't call the teacher and ask for extra credit for them. Either they do it on their own or they get that bad grade for good. They earned it, after all. Got broken up with via text message? Yeah, sure, shame the other party and talk about them being too immature for being in a relationship since they had to break up via text message. OR you could explain to your child that break ups are a part of life and help them stay positive and move the fuck on. If we don't let our kids learn how to live while we supervise them to stop them from seriously fucking up, how the hell will they ever learn how to live when we aren't there?!

I finally figured out what stresses me out; money and having to handle it.
My job title doesn't require me to be handling money. I applied as a stock clerk, and that was the job I was given. But nope, Wednesday I had to count he money in the register I was put on for the day only to find out that I came up $20.66 over short. I mean, what the fuck? $20.66? For the rest of the day I was wondering how in the hell that happened. If anyone short changed me that day it definitely wasn't for more than 4 bucks. And tonight I had to be a witness to a cashier closing and counting the money in 4 of the registers, in addition I had to count it myself to make sure she counted it right, and 3 of them came up over short, one of which was over $10 over short which is enough to warrant a warning to whoever was working behind that register.
I stock, I store keep and I occasionally cover for a cashier for a short period of time. At the end of the week I just need my check and a "thank you for your good work." I'm not there to handle money or watch anyone handle it. I fucking hate handling money on the job, it makes me extremely uncomfortable having to handle it knowing how seriously people take that shit. If something comes up short it automatically has to be assumed that someone is stealing, and I don't steal money just knowing how much trouble I can get into for it. I like my job and I don't wanna lose it over petty shit like that.
I'm seriously on the verge of tears.

My friend went nut's, I had to block him, and I know stay the crap away from him. Knowing his past, if he show's up around. I will have to do something serious. I'm tired of playing games. |
