WOW
Ohai... It's been quite a while, eh? So anyway, to catch up with you guys, a lot of stuff has happened since the last time I talked to you... Branden and I broke up. It still kinda hurts but I have promised myself that I would not let it get the best of me, so I moved on. Now I am dating my REAL other half, not to get you guys thinking that I am just a boyfriend-jumper. I have self-respect. But anyway, his name is Alex. He has helped me through sooo much, even my and Branden's break up. About that, Branden was convinced that I was cheating on him just because I had a new (guy) friend, which was Alex. So he broke up with me claiming that he needed to "find himself" or whatever, then shortly after he was saying that he broke up with me because I told him I was seeing another guy, which wasn't true. But whatever. After a month or so after trying to be his friend, I just gave up because all he wanted was to get in other girls' pants. Well, none of you know that on October 17, 2013 I got into a minor accident while at We Came as Romans' Tracing Back Roots tour when they came to Austin, Texas... It was my first concert and my first real opportunity to go crowd surfing, so I grabbed it by the horns and went along with it. But I don't know exactly what happened, but my guess is that someone thought it would be really clever to throw me too soon onto the stage, but I ended up crashing into the side of the stage, cutting my head open in several places and landing hard on the stage risers ON MY ELBOW. Imagine 175 pounds falling on your arm... Bound to break a bone, right? Wrong, but it sure did hurt like hell, it still kinda does. Well, I had to spend the rest of the concert and the majority of the night in the hospital. This was around the time Alex and I started dating and it was supposed to be our first date... But of course, it just HAD to turn to total bull... He was completely torn up about it... That was the first time I have seen him cry, but I have a feeling it won't be the last... AND, I had to get 4 staples in my head for the worse of the wounds and the rest bled out and scabbed over. Now I'm left with a scar that just looks like a part of my scalp. I don't have any pictures, but I'm sure I could probably find some on my mom's phone... idk In addition, Alex and I have grown to realize that when we're together, we don't really act much like boyfriend and girlfriend, but mostly like really good friends. Which is how a relationship really should work according to many people who I tell this to say in response, and I agree with them. As well, my oldest sister had her third baby. Little James.
