So I checked out Dichroic Mirror, and they remind me of Xmal Deuchland, ok i think i see a subgenre under the umbrella of Goth

also thank you for taking time to respond with a good samples cuz when i first heard of a division of genres in the goth world i was baffled by all the categories that artists and fans alike came up with for labels of a culture of like minded artists in a field. I thought dark/wave was going to have timbres of goth and newwave which i assumed darkwave was something like this ...

Not sure if it would be considered a subgenre of goth rock, bcuz it's not really rock... but I would say Witch House. All those synths and background sounds get me in a good mood, especially whenever I'm feeling low. I also like how drawn out the genre can be at times... you get alot more content and the compositions are really layered and intense
