Ha, ha! Thank you!

I cant sleep, i had a creepy man stalk, mock and harass me the other day at autozone. The employees thought he was with me π€¨ anyway he told me a bunch of disturbing things and I keep hearing him in my head. So I cant sleep. Yay me π |
Didn't the staff there notice you were in distress? Would've thought someone would step in. Sorry to hear you went through all that. For many years I'd get encounters like that too....it sucks and doesn't encourage one to go out and socialise. : - (

I missed out on the roller derby game on the weekend. I was expecting FB messages of 'where were you?' or 'didn't see you at the game, are you kay?' but didn't got nothing. Only one person mentioned it a couple of days after. But if it were other way around I would be enquiring 'are you okay?' and 'where were you?'

For the first time I told someone about a workmate of mine who I got along well with. We'd have D & M discussions, he'd laugh at my anectdotes, was full of good advice and tips. The job wasn't glamerous, we traveled around Canberra cleaning BBQ's but it was pretty cruisy. When I changed jobs he died. It was bit of a shock and I still feel sad when I see the BBQ sites we'd work on.
When I talked about this I realised that years ago someone like my mum would say "Build a bridge" or "Get over it" or "that was a year ago, shouldn't you be over that by now?" We realised this is down to sexism. As a male I'm 'supposed to' recover from any grief in 5min and generally not have any emotional attachment. : - (

As I was saying before my mother's response to me grieving would be "get over it!" I was talking to my sister about it and she point out she never got that response. We figured it was an old fashioned sexist attitude that men aren't emotional. However I should point out my mother got better towards the end. When I broke up with my las GF it was a horrible experience. It was like having a much loved family pet euthanised. For once my mum was sympathetic...

I'm trying to cut down on drinking but still allow my self a bit on the w/ends. Last night I had Ale which I made and turned out really well! Friday night I had Scotch! Dimple is a really good brand of Scotch! ; - )

I liked Black Panther but not too much. The concept about a highly technologically advanced and hidden nation was far fetched. Ok, it's a Comic Book film so it's going into the realms of Sci-Fi but in order for it to work it has to be a bit believable. I recon they could've done it better.

There's a community library near wear I live. It's a small box sitting beside a footpath on the way to the park. every time I open it and look inside I think "Gods....you people are so f*cking boring!" LOL
Seriously, it's full of books on lame-ass, mundane sh*t! Stuff you see and hear every day anyway. Books on farting out children, books for children, cook books.... : - (

I used to be affectionate, enthusiastic and loyal. On paper that sounds like a good, attractive quality to have. But when you put it into practice the reality is it comes across as "desperate, needy and infatuated." When I was younger I would've killed to find someone like that. It makes me realise how out of place I was (still am) and how I was born into the wrong environment.

LU: Ha...nah...we didn't, Karl.
I think by this point in my life, I Have Already Honestly Met Enough People.
I'm honestly NOT currently Looking For Companionship (no more Clubs, Bars, ComiCons, Movie Theatres, Concerts, etc. Nope.)
I was just Musing.
It's Amusing to periodically get "Progress Reports" on one's "Game"...
"Appeal"...
If you can actually get someone (certainly an Attractive Someone) to noticeably "RubberNeck" at You, heh (sure, maybe I'm wrong, but it felt Sincere to me, honestly.).....

LU: Maybe if you have Great Music Playing Outloud on your person, Karl...
It might help (goddamn, I actually really don't like EarPhones and EarBuds).
Also, I always smell like AfterShave Gel and Cologne when I step-out.
And Freshly-Bathed. Ha.
Maybe that'll help too.
I Recommend You Dress All In Black.
Always.

I hear ya'! I probably mentioned this before but my GD teacher said "when males hit 30 they've reached their sexual peak and it's all down hill from then on." I didn't deny it at the time as I was already feeling it but when I hit 40 I remembered that and thought 'Yeah....I totally understand now.'

I try to but people make virtually impossible to chat further. The majority of people here a conservative and self absorbed. They're main concern is themselves and maybe people closer to them in their realm. It's really sad, I had a close friend who was uber friendly and charismatic but she was sooooo depressed because she struggled to make friends. Her life improved by heaps when she left Canberra. LOL
